Websites that book jobs

Pest Control Website Design

Your website has one job: turn a person standing in their kitchen looking at ants into a booked inspection. Most pest control websites are brochures. We build closing tools.

The standard

What a Pest Control Website Has to Do

A pest control website has to load fast on a phone, prove you are legitimate in about four seconds, and give the visitor a way to book without talking to anyone. That is it. Everything else is decoration.

Understand the moment. Someone just pulled back the baseboard and found termite damage, or watched a roach cross the kitchen floor at 11pm, or got a real estate contract that requires a WDI inspection before closing in nine days. They are on a phone, they are mildly upset, and they are going to look at two or three companies. The site that answers fastest and looks the most credible gets the call.

Most pest control websites fail this on three counts. They load in five or six seconds because a page builder is loading four hundred kilobytes of JavaScript to render a hero image. They have one page called "Services" that lists eleven pests in a bulleted list, which means they rank for none of them. And the only way to contact you is a form with nine fields that emails an inbox nobody checks after 5pm.

What we build

What's Included in a Pest Control Website Build

1

Speed as a feature

Built to pass Core Web Vitals on mobile, on real devices, on a mediocre connection. Every second of load time costs you conversions, and Google uses page experience as a ranking input.

2

A page per pest, a page per city

Termite gets its own page. Bed bugs get their own page. Mosquito, rodent, wildlife, commercial, each gets a real page with real content. Then a page for every city you service. That structure is how you rank.

3

Conversion paths, not a contact form

Click-to-call in the sticky header, a short quote form above the fold, text-to-book, and an online scheduling option for the people who will never call. Different buyers convert differently.

4

Trust signals where they matter

License numbers, insurance, years in business, technician photos, review stars pulled live, service guarantees, and pricing transparency. This is a stranger coming into someone's home.

5

Built-in local SEO structure

Schema markup, NAP consistency, service area definitions, internal linking, and page titles built around how people actually search. The SEO is baked into the build, not bolted on later.

6

Wired to your field software

Form submissions and booking requests flow into FieldRoutes, PestRoutes, GorillaDesk, Briostack, or ServiceTitan, so a lead becomes a scheduled stop instead of an email in a shared inbox.

The number that matters

Traffic Is Not the Problem. Conversion Is.

Doubling your conversion rate has exactly the same effect on booked jobs as doubling your traffic, and it is dramatically cheaper and faster. Before we recommend spending a dollar on ads or SEO, we fix what happens to the visitors you already have. That is why the website comes first in almost every engagement we take.

The structure

Why Service Pages and City Pages Beat One Giant Homepage

Google ranks pages, not businesses. If you want to rank for termite inspection [your city], something on your site has to be specifically about termite inspection in that city. A homepage that mentions termites in a bullet list will not do it, and no amount of link building will fix a structural problem.

So the architecture looks like this:

  • Service pages. One per pest or service category, each with real substance: what the treatment involves, what it costs and what drives the price, how long it takes, what the customer needs to do to prepare, what your guarantee covers.
  • City pages. One per municipality you actually service, with genuinely local content: neighborhoods, the pest pressure specific to that area, local landmarks, and the crews who work it. Not a template with the city name swapped in, which Google has been filtering out for years.
  • Service-plus-city pages for your highest-value combinations. Bed bug treatment in [city] is worth its own page if bed bug work is a real revenue line for you.
  • Supporting content that answers the questions people ask before they are ready to call, which feeds the whole structure with relevance and internal links.

We build this map before writing a single line of copy, sized to your actual service area and your actual revenue mix. There is no point building forty city pages for towns you will not drive to.

Ownership

You Own the Site. Fully.

A depressing number of agencies build pest control companies a website on a proprietary platform, then hold it hostage. Stop paying and the site disappears. That is a business model, not a service.

Everything we build is yours. Your domain, registered in your name. Your hosting account. Standard technology you can hand to any competent developer. Full admin access from day one. If you fire us, you keep the site and everything in it, and we will hand over credentials without a fight.

Common questions

Pest Control Website Design, Answered

How long does a pest control website take to build?
A typical build runs six to ten weeks from kickoff to launch, depending on how many service and city pages are in scope and how quickly we can get photos, license details, and content review from your side. The bottleneck is almost always content approval, not development.
Do I need a new website, or can you fix mine?
Sometimes a rebuild is not necessary. If your site is on a maintainable platform, loads reasonably fast, and just lacks structure and conversion paths, fixing it is cheaper and faster. We will tell you honestly which one you are looking at after an audit, and we have no incentive to push a rebuild because the ongoing work is where the relationship lives.
Will my rankings drop when the new site launches?
Not if the migration is done properly. Redirect mapping, preserved URL structure where it makes sense, retained content on pages that already rank, and a post-launch crawl to catch anything broken. Ranking drops after a redesign are an avoidable mistake, not an inevitability.
Do you write the content?
Yes. Service pages, city pages, and supporting content are written by us and reviewed by you. You know things about your market that we do not, so your review makes the content better, but you are not being handed a homework assignment.
Can you make my site rank by itself?
A well-built site ranks better than a poorly built one, immediately and permanently. But sustained rankings in a competitive market also need ongoing local SEO, reviews, and content. The site is the foundation, not the whole building.
